Gingham blue. Think Dorothy, Todo, and red slippers. Living in Colorado has made me consider adding a basket to my Townie and being at the ready for green skies that may spin and land me and on a yellow brick road. In the spirit of gingham, and with the trend of this summer, I was lucky to find this high waisted skirt at a thrift store. It cost me $2 and Matt's approval (we were on a thrifting date night). Paired with this "which way" shirt I got on sale a while back, it definitely embodies the feel of Oz. And instead of ruby red slippers, I went with nautical yellow wedges by Tom's shoes.

Love the outfit and of course I am such a fan of the shoes. I just covered a pair of Tom's with fabric, I had worn a hole in the side of them, could not stand throwing them away. Saw something in Etsy and got the idea to try it. I needs to spray with scotch-gard and they will be good to go. Hope they don't fall apart while I am wearing them. Love the skirt, you can wear alot with it, and would make a cute outfit for the 4th. LT you have done it again. XOXO

ps: love the toes. Arf!! (Robert)
You just spray them, works great on light colors then you can just spot clean if you get the heals dirty. Just like the Midi queens if you wash a spot off then respray.
